There's a lot happening this Fall at BHCC!  We are in the process of constructing a perminent freestanding sign at the corner of Creek St. and Pen Web Park.  After setting up a portable sign in the wind, rain, sleet and snow during our days as a portable church, it's nice to finally have a sign that will be up all the time.  10,000 cars drive by every day and will see this sign.

Thank you to everyone who generously supported our Building Hope Campaign.  We set a goal to raise $200,000 by our grand opening and we not only reached it, we exceeded it!

We are now meeting in our new space at 1280 Creek St. in Webster.  After 21.5 years of being a portable church (setting up and breaking down every Sunday), it is so nice to finally have a place to call home.  What we're looking forward to most of all is welcoming the community and reaching more people for Christ than ever before.

We finally have our building permit from the town.  Even though our new church building has a Webster mailing address, it is in the Penfield building district so we're working with the town of Penfied.

We are in the process of finalizing some administrative work that will allow us to break ground any time now!  There are a lot of steps in the building process but we are very close to moving some dirt.  We're expecting the building to start going up later this Spring and will be finishing it up over the Summer.  Be sure to subscribe to our enews for all the latest updates!

We had a great Palm Sunday service and it's been great to see more and more of our people returning to in-person services!

We have now started streaming our services to our website in addition to Facebook live.  This new opportunity gives people without a Facebook account a way to join us live.  Some people have also experienced issues with the Facebook live stream and this is a second option to turn to if you run into any problems.

This past Sunday, we weren't sure we'd be able to have church.  AMC unexpectedly closed down late Saturday afternoon saying it was due to a maintenance issue.  There have been a lot of rumors going around but we spoke with the theater manager Sunday and I thought I would clear up the confusion.

I just wanted to give everyone a quick update on masks.  This past week, AMC Theatres updated it's policy on masks which are no longer required for those fully vaccinated (waiting 2 full weeks after last vaccination).  We will follow their policy for our services also.  Children are still required to wear masks as well as those not yet fully vaccinated.  If you are fully vaccinated and feel more comfortable wearing a mask or face shield, we encourage you to do so.  We look forward to seeing you soon!

It has been great to see more and more people returning to church.  Even though we are continuing to follow AMC Theatres' policies about wearing a mask until seated (even for those fully vaccinated), the recent announcement from the CDC and NY is an encouragement that things are getting back to normal.  Not only has our church attendance picked up, we are also seeing many more visitors.
