All the stress from the economy seems to be making a lot of people fearful.  I don't believe that we have anything to fear.

Chris Tomlin has a new song called "My Deliverer."  The chorus goes: "My deliverer, my deliverer, my deliverer is the Lord!"  In times of trouble, God is our refuge and strength.  In other words, He wants us to look to Him.  He doesn't want us to be afraid.  If we trust in Him, he will deliver us from anything we bring to Him in prayer.

There is so much to be thankful for.  In other countries, Christians are living on less than a dollar per day.  We're still a long way from this.  There is much excitement at Blessed Hope and so many live being changed.  We have the peace of knowing that no matter what happens, we will get through it together, helping and supporting each other!  And our deliverer is the Lord!
