"Tired of Living for Success and Popularity?" - Supplement 3
Happiness is a lot about perspective. A few years ago I had an interesting experience with perspective. I went into my room to check my email. I shook the mouse but the computer wouldn’t come on. “The mouse is broke,” I thought. I shook it some more. Frustrated, I started pounding on the keys. Still nothing. “The whole computer must be broke.” I started feeling sorry for myself and thinking about how much I spent on that computer and how upset I was when I notice my alarm clock wasn’t working, nor could I turn on the lights in my room. As a matter of fact, the whole house didn’t have power—nor did the whole street or the whole northeast part of the country.
