4. Get plenty of rest
There are many benefits to sleep including better reaction time, better judgement, better vision, better information processing, better short-term memory, greater performance, more motivation and greater patience.
But sleep isn’t enough. Have you ever noticed that our spirit is often just as troubled when we wake up in the morning as when we go to bed. There is a different kind of rest that our spirits require, rest for the soul!
Matthew 14:22
Immediately Jesus made the disciples get into the boat and go on ahead of him to the other side, while he dismissed the crowd. 23After he had dismissed them, he went up on a mountainside by himself to pray.
