I sometimes wonder if I'm really living according to God's plan for me.  So often, we fall short of his splender.  Some days, from the second we get up, things go wrong one after the next.  In response, I find myself trying harder.  But no matter how hard I try, it doesn't seem to be enough.  No matter how hard I try, how much I pray, how much I fast... it still isn't enough.  I'm not in control, and never will be.

Its those times, the times when we know we've done all we can--those are the times when we can stand in faith most honestly.  We've given this all we've got, and now it's time to trust.  He's given me these words, "Just do your best and trust me with the rest."

Whatever you're going through right now, whatever you're struggling with... don't give up.  Keep fighting, give it your best, and when you know you've done you're best, all you can do is trust Him--trust Him with the rest.

Jesus Comforts His Disciples

1"Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me.  In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you.  And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.  You know the way to the place where I am going."
