This past Sunday, BHCC held it's first service in the newly renovated theater #12.  It's more than just a new look--it's a completely new atmosphere.  The new theater feels like being in a big living room.  It completely changes the dynamics of our service.  We're still adapting but overall, it's a huge improvement.

I thought I'd take a moment to list some of the new features of the theater and our service.  I've tried to list every improvement I can think of.

Theater
-Chairs are now power reclining "lazy boy" seats
-Chairs now have cup holders
-Screen is now wider than ever and we've switch from widesceen format to anamorphic (super wide screen)
-Screen is now curved for maximum viewing
-More handicap space
-Larger area for prayer
-Larger area for parents with young children
-Floor is now flat because of the added stadium seating making it easier to stand for worship
-More soundproofing added to the walls for better acoustics
-There's now carpeting up front on the "stage" for better acoustics
-New carpeting, paint and curtains throughout the theater

Bathrooms
-New larger bathrooms, completely remodeled.
-Bathrooms now have Airblade hand dryers
-New tiled floor, freshly painted walls, new stainless steel sinks


We've always believed that church isn't about the building, it's about the people---the family of God coming together to worship our lord and savior Jesus Christ.  While all these new features are great improvements to help enhance just about every aspect of our service, none of these things compare to the glory of our God--the reason for our coming together!
