So much has been happening at BHCC recently, I've really dropped the ball on blogging!

The spiritual momentum is so strong in our church right now. Churches really have their own life and heartbeat and BHCC's heart is beating fast and hard right now.  

Craig Groeschel wrote a book called "IT" that says it all about what BHCC is experiencing right now.  BHCC has "IT."

"It" is something that a church either has or it doesn't.  It's very hard to describe what "It" is. (Read the book.)

Even if senior church leaders have "IT," it doesn't mean the church will.  There's a collective experience that must come together all at once in order to get "IT."  I've been a part of two churches in the past who had "IT" for a season.  The problem with "IT" is that just because you get it, it doesn't mean you'll keep IT.  IT seems to have a will of it's own.   :-)

Many churches (but not all) are able to get IT and retain IT and I do believe BHCC is entering just such a time with IT.  IT's building.  IT's moving.  IT's increasing at an exciting speed.

I can't wait to see all that IT will do in 2009 and beyond!
