Sometimes we need to let the child in us come to the surface a little more often.....After all, Jesus said:

Matthew 18:3
“I tell you the truth, unless you turn from your sins and become like little children, you will never get into the Kingdom of Heaven."

We need to see Christmas through the eyes of the child inside us: with humility, open hearts, joy and just a great sense of fun and wonder!  Don't miss the point of Christmas and you'll be sure not to miss the whole point of LIFE!

God came to earth!  God visited this planet!  God...Jesus... The Light of the World stepped down from His throne in heaven---into the darkness that we have created here.  He had a plan.  He came to rescue us! He humbled Himself into our human form---the Holy of Holies---came on a mission---to find us, to pay a huge price for us and to lead us HOME to our Father in Heaven! 

His plan was always to be with us!  The whole point of Christmas and life can be summed up in these four little words: "God is WITH US!"  That's what the name Immanuel means! 

So this Christmas, let's remember to come into His presence like the children we are---with a sense of fun, wonder and awe! We have great reason to celebrate and to be happy.  Our God loves us and desires to be with us!

Find ways to have fun this Christmas and let the child inside you shine through in all kinds of creative ways!  "Jesus loves me this I know, because the Bible tells me so....."  SMILE and let it be contagious!
