Summer is almost over already.....where in the world did the last few months go so quickly?

We had a great camping trip in the Adirondacks last week.  We saw the beginnings of fall in the trees up there---lots of red and deep gold leaves already.  One night it got down to 40 degrees---brrrrr.....a taste of what's to come for sure!  But it was overall a really great vacation!  I actually found time to read 3 books!

My allergies tell me fall is almost here as well.  Not feeling too great the last few days.

I am so ready to get back into routine though.  Summer is always a slump time in the church with so many people traveling & trying to make the most of our short summers---understandable for sure.

We had an AWESOME church picnic at Mendon Ponds park on Sunday.  Had a great crowd & made great, new memories together.  Quite a few people brought family and friends so we got to make new friends as well.  June & Mary did an absolutely incredible job putting it all together!  And what a blessing to have so many of their family there helping as well! Much thanks to Bill who grilled a LOT of burgers, etc.!

I love this church!  We have so many kind, servant-hearted people!  A week ago Sunday, I told our people that we were a little short-handed for tear down & asked that whoever could stay would please stay.  Well, I was amazed, practically the whole church stayed and helped us clean up!  We made it out of there in record time!

Now is the time for us to get ready for our Fall Open House!  I can't wait!  That means it's time to welcome new family members home once again! Please all join me in praying for God to add daily to the number of people being saved through Blessed Hope Community Church this fall and BEYOND!  We are seeing His power in so many ways!  I can't wait to see all that is yet to come!
