Going and Making Disciples.........
I'm so excited about the baptisms at our house this Sunday! It's always a deeply spiritual experience for all of us! It's so exciting to welcome our new brothers and sisters in Christ into the family!
And it's exciting to know that we as a church are fulfilling Christ's command to us to........
Matthew 28:19
"Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit."
BHCC continues to grow in health and strength! We continue to have a lot of families & young adults visit us each week. Many people have come because they saw the sign out front. That never happened at any of our previous locations!
Everyone keeps telling me what an incredibly talented worship team we have & it's true---we are very BLESSED! These guys and gals keep getting better and better. It's awesome to now have a gifted keyboard player and vocalist in Rachel. All of them get along so well & it shows in their music!
I can't wait to see all God will continue to do in us and through us in the near future. A new visitor came this past Sunday and told me 'everyone is talking about your church, I just had to come and check it out!" After the service she said she loved it & would be bringing back a bunch of her friends.
Our church is five years old but it feels like we made a brand new start when we moved our Sunday worship services to the movie theater! People keep telling me that they can feel the presence and love of God the second they walk into our church and I get especially excited when brand new people say this.
I know I feel it, but to hear others say they feel it is amazing! Recently a ten-year-old boy told his Mom he felt the Holy Spirit for the first time during our worship. How cool is that???
