We have just started a brand new series at BHCC called "Showing God's Love in Practical Ways." This isn't just the start of a brand new message series, this is the beginning of a brand new chapter at BHCC!!!

I was talking to a family that is new to BHCC last week. She and her husband have quickly fallen in love with our church. She said something that I feel BLESSED to hear a lot about BHCC....you can feel the presence and love of God as soon as you walk in the door!
I'm amazed that I get to hear this over and over...different people who say they can feel how kind and sincere the people of this church are as soon as they walk in the door. Every church has it's own personality, the two words that describe BHCC best is kind and sincere! That is exactly the kind of church I want to be a part of.
I am so proud of this church family. They really 'get it" and practice loving one another on a regular basis. It just flows out of them. It's not just for people they know, it's for people they barely know as well. Some of the things people have done for each other in this church in the last few weeks:
Bringing many meals to two different people who've had surgery in the last few weeks.
Someone went to a busy Mom's home to give her a haircut.
Babysitting each other's children.
Two guys went to one family's home and fixed their leaky sink.
One guy replaced the brakes on another guy's truck.
One guy filled up another guys gas tank and gave him a bag of food.
Someone dropped off a whole bunch of new sheets and misc. stuff at church. We have no idea who it was.
People continue to bring in food for our food cupboard on a daily basis.
Our prayer group is dedicated to praying for the needs of the people in our church.
And all those things are just a few that have happened in the last few weeks!
I love this church! I love the fact that God has brought SO MANY KIND and sincere people here! No one pretends to be perfect. We're all just broken people trying hard to love God and love our one another.
I can't wait for all the great outreach things that we're going to do in the next few months!
