I woke up this morning singing the lyrics: "Savior, he can move the mountains. Our God is mighty to save, He is mighty to save." What a great way to start the day....
And I am praising God because I get to see Him moving mountains every single day.
I feel like I've personally had such a great paradigm shift in my thinking recently. I get something that I've never gotten at this level before. I've been freed from some wrongful thinking that has weighted me down for years!
Being free from the lies of the enemy is a tremendously powerful thing! We don't realize the tremendous amount of weight we carry when we believe the lies of this world. Sometimes we don't even realize that we are believing (and living) lies because it is happening at such a deep, deep level within us.
But Jesus won't stop going after those lies. Again and again, His Spirit points to them and seeks to bring them up to the surface to get us to see them for what they are: LIES!!!
The truth does set us free again and again!
John 8:31-32
Jesus said to the people who believed in him, “You are truly my disciples if you remain faithful to my teachings. 32 And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
So much of life is all about being able to distinquish the truth from the lies.
John 14:6
Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
I see too many people blinded by the lies. They're miserable because the lies have them held captive. They don't see the weight that the lies are forcing them to carry. They're weighted down from living lives that are focused on the lies of the enemy.
I know because I've been there. I know because I'm such a slow learner. My personal discovery leaves me wanting so much to help free people from the weight of lies! I want others to know the same freedom & joy that I have found in following the Christ! I feel the love of the Christ in me longing to set the captives free, just as He continues to free me!
The answer to living a lie is JESUS. He is the antidote to misery. He is the medicine to all that sickens the heart. He is the freedom from the slavery to lies and sin. He is the truth that sets us free!
There is only one place to find real peace in this world and it is found in Christ Alone! No person, no amount of good looks, or money, or job, or approval of others, or material thing can bring the peace & joy that is found ONLY in Christ Alone!
Freedom is found when the lies of chasing all those other things are exposed for what they are....and THANK GOD,,,
