Random Stuff....
Very excited about this new message series called FUEL! The Holy Spirit showed up in a huge way last Sunday....WOW....felt those living waters pouring out through the message....love how God does that!
Thinking much about my 30 year wedding anniversary coming up on June 7th! Wow....where have the years gone? I am so blessed to have a husband who is still my best friend!
It's also interesting that in July is my 35th high school reunion! That has been stirring up a lot of old memories. It makes me very sad for so many of my friends from back then that are no longer with us. I miss them. But it makes me feel good about all that God has made happen in my life. I feel so good about who I am after all these years and I thank God every day for the life that He has given me!
So excited to see all the new growth at BHCC recently. We've gained around 30 new people in the last five months! Strange how God moves when God decides to move! He spoke to me last Fall and told me that we would have a 'pruning' but after the pruning, we would see much growth. That's exactly what happened.
Of course, just as new people come, some old friends leave for whatever reason. I feel like a little piece of my heart leaves with each person that goes. Some more than others. :-) I know it has to be this way and God's will is ultimately being done....but I grieve...if they only knew how much!
God has brought a few new, special friends (outside the church) into my life recently. These new friends energize me and I am so grateful for their friendship! It is truly an answer to prayer.
Our church feels so incredibly healthy and ALIVE right now! God has built our church slowly and so purposefully through the years. I feel so much love for these people....have seen them go through so much and grow through it all. I do feel sorry for anyone who doesn't know what it's like to have a church family like ours.....so much LOVE!
I'm so looking forward to doing Christine and Mike's wedding this Saturday. I've seen them go through so much and God has done miracles in both of them! I baptized them last summer and they both mean so much to me! What an honor to officiate at their wedding!
Thank you Jesus for sending us the Holy Spirit to live with us and grow us into Your likeness. I love how Your Spirit builds Your church and builds love into each one of us! Amen!
