This past Sunday - our message was about the Holy Spirit Baptism - and how Jesus used the imagery of the wind to describe what the Holy Spirit is like:

John 3:8
"The wind blows wherever it wants. Just as you can hear the wind but can't tell where it comes from or where it is going, so you can't explain how people are born of the Spirit."

We discussed how the Spirit sometimes moves in our lives as a quiet breath, or as a gentle breeze and at times even like a MIGHTY RUSHING WIND as it did on those first disciples:

Acts 2:2
"And suddenly there came from heaven a sound like a mighty rushing wind, and it filled the entire house where they were sitting."

Well, it sure feels like the Holy Spirit has been moving in our church like a mighty rushing wind recently!!! We had an amazing worship service this past Sunday and then following worship - we had around 80 people show up and BAPTIZE 15 people at our house on Sunday! (Good thing we have a huge yard!)

Right before the baptisms, we had a HUGE bald eagle fly low right over our pool! How GREAT is our God!

This is just the beginning of GREATER things to come for God's people at BHCC!

I am so excited to see all the results from this Mighty Rushing Wind a blowin' at our Blessed Hope Community Church! It so feels like a taste of Heaven we have here on earth! What an awesome, loving Church we have become! Let's all keep praying for each other - for God to get ALL the glory  - for Salvation to come to the lost sheep - for miraculous healings - for more resurrected marriages - for children being saved - for more hearts and lives being healed - for Jesus to be lifted HIGH in Webster, Irondequoit, Penfield, Fairport, Rochester, Ontarion, Greece and BEYOND!
