Well, What a wonderful day it was yesterday to celebrate my birthday! Actually, it began Wed. night with my church family at our midweek service with this beautiful cake:
And then yesterday, I was blessed to spend the day with my beautiful granddaughter, Jordyn! She was so full of smiles & giggles and was a perfect angel all day. Almost seemed like she knew it was my birthday and wanted to make it special for me. She did!
I feel so incredibly BLESSED!
The last few months have been a bit rough in other ways, especially work-load, so I'm so grateful to take a few days and just rest and count my blessings! We had a wonderful, incredible Easter service last Sunday and were blessed to have over 20 first time guests! So it's been a great week and well worth all the hard work we've put in preparing for this busy church time of year.
This morning I got a nice surprise in a personal birthday good wishes email from my friend Steve Sjogren. He is one of my mentors and heroes in so many ways and I also consider him a friend! He truly is one of the kindest people I've ever met. He has been a tremendous inspiration to me in more ways than I can count!
I'm looking forward to going out to dinner with my family tonight at one of my all time favorite restaurants! Should be a beautful sunset on the lake! So good to take a moment and praise our Creator who blesses us beyond our imaginations! Hope you too have had time this week to do the same.
Albert Einstein said: “There are two ways to live: you can live as if nothing is a miracle; you can live as if everything is a miracle.”
I choose to live as if everything is a miracle! Hope you do too! Thanks be to GOD! Amen!
