A Night I'll Never Forget

By Pastor John on 12/9/2008

I was on my way home from the rehearsal dinner (Nov. 21st) the evening before my wedding when something terrible happened.

Real

By Pastor John on 11/8/2008

I think that it's essential to our faith that we are real with one another and real before God.  I think there are 3 levels of being real.  The first is level involves masks.  It's about pretending to be something we're not.  It's about image and self-esteem.

Yesterday we had a great time at Kingdom Bound.  Got a chance to see Third Day and Leeland.  Actually we saw Leeland 3 times--once on stage--once on the Viper and once just walking through the park.

Finals Moments in Life

By Pastor John on 8/2/2008

When you're in school, you know exactly when to expect your finals.  You might even know from the first day of class exactly when you'll be taking that final.  Even though I'm not in school any more, I still have moments that feel like finals.

Happy 4th of July!

By Pastor John on 7/3/2008

This is the first time I've had a day off in a LONG time.  This week has been pretty quiet for business so there's no better opportunity to take some time off.  My family (Dad's side) just got into town and Jen is going to meet them for the first time.
