So much has been happening at BHCC recently, I've really dropped the ball on blogging! The spiritual momentum is so strong in our church right now. Churches really have their own life and heartbeat and BHCC's heart is beating fast and hard right now.

I've had a nasty cold for a week now & being sick sure makes you remember how great it is to simply feel good.  Too bad we take that for granted so much.

Despite all that, it's been a great week for BHCC.  We had an awesome time of worship Sunday followed by what may be the absolute all-time best Christmas party we've ever had! EVERYONE who came said they had an amazing time!  I was happy to see so many of our new people attend and we were very packed but that just made it more fun.

Sometimes we need to let the child in us come to the surface a little more often.....After all, Jesus said:

Matthew 18:3
“I tell you the truth, unless you turn from your sins and become like little children, you will never get into the Kingdom of Heaven."

Christmas is only 3 weeks from today!  I am so excited.  I LOVE Christmas for all the RIGHT reasons! Jesus is the reason for the season!

I am so excited we're going to have a Christmas Eve service at the Harmony House this year---it will be like old times!

Celebrate God's Love!

In the Old Testament, God tells the nation of Israel to remember the marvelous works of God by celebrating. After 40 years of wandering in the wilderness, they find themselves poised to go into the promised land of Canaan and the Lord, through his servant Moses, gives them some final instructions: Celebrate!
